From the bench
Solid sterling silver pressed into a smooth dome, finished by hand with a rounded outer rim. A nursing bra holds each cup in place over the nipple. Between feeds, a quick rinse under warm tap water and a dry cloth are all the silver asks for.
Solid sterling metal
We press these from solid sterling silver sheets and buff both faces to a bright sheen. The metal stays cool to the touch and carries a light, natural weight against the skin.
Turned smooth rim
Each cup edge is turned back and smoothed by hand so the perimeter rests flat against the breast. The smooth rim will not catch or dig into fabric when worn inside a bra.
Choosing the dome width
We make this sterling shape in several widths across the areola. A wider dome spreads contact across more skin and leaves extra depth inside the cup apex for mothers who prefer more room.
Rinsing and daily care
Wash the metal with warm water once a day and dry it on a soft cloth by the sink. If milk builds up, mix a little baking soda with water to restore the shine.
